WHY WE DO THIS

When the only-daughter of the family got married on the estate in the most spectacular way possible, we knew we had to share this. The event was delivered by Louise Perry Weddings with a precision second to none. We long to share the wonderful experience we had and therefore we seek to work with like-minded people. We know that the incredible wild and unaltered beauty of this land will inspire you as it has inspired us.

ROHIT

Property and Events Manager
Rohit manages the residential and commercial properties. He’s also our events organiser having been formerly an Events Manager at Somerset House in Central London.

LOUISE PERRY

Venue Manager
I am Louise, Director of my award-winning wedding planning company since 2012. I am excited to have joined forces with this amazing venue and I am certain of its huge potential.

EMMA

Finance
Having worked on the Estate for 12 years there’s little Emma doesn’t know about the place....and that includes the accounts. Ask Emma any question and you’ll always get the answer.

WILL

Farm manager
Will had little management experience when he was catapaulted into his present role nearly 12 years ago. It was sink or swim and luckily for Will and his family he swam well. Will heads up the farming team and is responsible for all the crops growing on the Estate

RUTH

Conservation Officer
Ruth has been looking after the wildlife for close on 20 years. There’s still a small shoot on the Estate but Ruth’s task today is much more about caring for wildlife and maintaining a balance of species. Rain or shine Ruth is out and about: her knowledge of biodiversity and what lives on the Estate is second to none

TIM

Estate Gardener
Tim’s job, first and foremost, is to keep the gardens at Quakers House looking beautiful. But Tim is no ordinary gardener: he has a deep love of trees and working wood, something which takes him into the woodlands. He’s often chosen to spend a whole weekend up in some towering oak.

SAUL

Landscape & Maintenance
Saul is the newest addition to this team, having visited the Estate in his youth and vowed to come back again. He achieved this in 2020 and has become a valued member of the Estate ‘family’. He’s right into beauty and conservation and, as the handyman of the estate, he can fix anything.

The Estate has the traditional mix of arable, grass and woodlands. Our arable fields produce fine crops of Wheat, Barley, Oilseed Rape and Beans. We let our grass keep to livestock graziers and horse owners. The area covered by woodlands have doubled.
